Badger Path was a slightly-slender, dilute calico tabby with hazel eyes and a petal-covered pelt.

Badger Path was found abandoned on BreezeClan territory, and was adopted by Ravenstar. She became a Medicine Cat apprentice, but found herself in the Dark Forest instead of StarClan. Breeze taught Badger Path how to fight, a skill she used to eventually kill Blaze Flash. She received her full title the same moon.

When Moon Tuft came to BreezeClan to ask for herbs, Badger Path turned him away. On Moon 61, she killed Birch Heart. She mentored Dauber Patch and Rush Foot. She was mates with Shadow Claw. Badger Path was exiled for her murders. She began meeting with Warbler Talon in secret after her exile, sharing her ideas and plans with the new warrior. She and Branch Feather formed DarkClan together.

After starting a war between DarkClan and the other Clans, Badger Path was finally killed by Streamstar, ending the war and dissolving DarkClan.

History

Badger Path was found abandoned on BreezeClan territory, and was adopted by Ravenstar. She was saved from an attack from a hawk by Ravenstar. Hoping to connect more to StarClan, Badger Path became a medicine cat apprentice. However, as she climbed into the tall, exposed branches of the Star Tree, she did not wake up in the starlit fields of StarClan. Instead, she awoke in the Dark Forest, welcomed by a dripping, limping, ginger-and-white molly. She was once again saved from a hawk attack by Ravenstar.

One night, Badger Path had a violent dream involving the lake filling with blood, the thick red liquid lapping at her paws as she stood at the shore. She talked about it with Sucker Pelt, who comforted her. Several moons later, Badger Path was instructed by Breeze to do what needs to be done. She lured Blaze Flash deep into BreezeClan territory under the guise of helping her collect herbs, only to turn around and lunge upon him, killing him and leaving his corpse to be found by either predators or a patrol. Breeze congratulated the apprentice the next time she dreamt of the Dark Forest. The same moon, she traveled to the Star Tree and was given her full title.

On Moon 61, she killed Birch Heart and left her body near the border between LeafClan and BreezeClan. She mentored Dauber Patch and Rush Foot. On Moon 72, she became mates with Shadow Claw. On Moon 80, Badger Path was exiled by Ravenstar, and Shadow Claw broke up with her. After being exiled from BreezeClan, Badger Path was visited in her dreams once again by Breeze. Breeze told her she would have to regroup with other like-minded cats if she wanted to continue their plans. Bagder Path met with Branch Feather, and the two of them formed DarkClan. However, Badger Path was unable to receive any lives, as she did not have StarClan's blessing. While on patrol, Badger Path met a loner with healing skills named Soap Bubbles. Unfortunately, Soap Bubbles fled and did not stay to join DarkClan.

On Moon 90, Badger Path announced she was expecting kits and gave birth to Vetch Splash, Pigeon Pelt, Salamander Speckle, Thistle Pounce, and Frost Toe. When Warbler Talon challenged Badger Path on Moon 103, she ordered Butterfly Petal to attack Warbler Talon. He did, though they all ended up injured. Badger Path was finally killed by Streamstar, who ripped out her throat on the shore of the lake, ending the war and dissolving DarkClan.
